You can find the city of Elliot Lake in Algoma County in northern Ontario and between the city of Sault Ste. Marie and Sudbury. Located north of Lake Huron, Elliott Lake is easily accessible by heading north on Ontario Highway 108, just 25 km from the Trans-Canada Highway.
Elliott Lake began as a mining town that thrived in the 1950s, producing most of the world's uranium for decades. In the early 1990s, the mines began to close and the town's population dwindled. Since then, housing, tourism, new businesses and new industries have helped the city flourish.

From Mining Town To Retirement Destination—the Transformation Of Elliot Lake
At Spruce Beach, you can swim in Elliot Lake and soak up the sun on the sandy beach. There is parking on Spruce Avenue and the beach offers several playgrounds for playing and picnicking. Toilets, changing rooms and concierge services are available. The buoy indicates the appropriate swimming depth for children.

Boat launches are set up on several lakes around Elliot Lake. You can use them to launch boats of any size for your recreational and fishing pleasure. We use several boat launch sites and Mississauga Provincial Park provides access to both sites if you have a pass.
A lottery system will be used to win one (1) out of ten (10) annual Elliott Lake boating tickets for the 2022 boating season.
Elliott Corbett Memorial State Park
The last date for registration is April 15, 2022 at 11:55 pm. You can register using the online form or by sending a completed form to City Hall through the drop box at the front entrance.
The lottery draw will be held on April 19, 2022 at 1:00 pm at City Hall. The slips are assigned in the order they are called. You will be notified by phone of your application appointment and have 48 hours to provide insurance and payment.
The Seasonal Boat Slip Pass is valid until October 10, 2022 (when the boat launches TBD) in Spring 2022.
