Elliott's Landing And Campground - Elliott's Landing is a small private campground with 48 sites, mostly 50 amps, all with water and sewer lines. They are located on Lake Marion near Rimini SC, part of the Santee Cooper Lake System. It was founded in 1945 during the Saint Cooper Lake flood, making it the oldest campground on the lake.

All sites are fully fenced with plenty of room for my 33' semi truck and trailer. The trail to the campground is about 1 mile of gravel road that can become dusty or a little muddy if it rains heavily. These areas are flat grassy areas with a sandy base, some shaded areas, and mostly partial shade. Camping trails are easy to operate for large grills. Lake chairs turn back and all other chairs recede. They have a 300-foot fishing pier, boat launch, general store and two bathrooms. I saw my brother catch some big seafood and catfish near the shore at his camp. During the spring and summer, the harbor is reported to be a fishing hotspot with plenty of action.

Verizon wireless reception was good with a reliable 4G connection. Over-the-air TV reception was good and I was able to get all the major networks.

I stayed in Elliot's Landing for several weeks in March 2017. I found it a good place. Many of the sites were long-term residents, but few actually camped, and others showed up on the weekends to fish and relax with their boats. It's a little out of the way, and the closest shopping area is 20 miles from Manning.
