Taurus X 22 - I have long loved .22LR pistols, there is something about them that is endlessly fun and brings back so many childhood memories. Perhaps this is why I immediately loved the Taurus TX22 and knew I had to review this .22LR pistol.

So, we're going to run down the specs of this gun and see how it compares to other 22s like the Ruger SR22, and a few others.

The grip ergonomics and texture of this pistol reminds me a lot of a cross between a PSA Dagger and a SIG P320.

The reason I say that is because when I first held it, it is very similar to the P320 when it comes to grip.

Now, not really, so don't fall for it and think it's the equivalent of their new Sig P322, which is based on the Sig P365 rather than the P320.

No That's a beast in its own right, but it's the closest comparison I can give.

So grip texture is solid, considering this gun will have almost zero recoil. When you first install the Master Grip on a gun, it feels fantastic.

There is no large beaver tail on the gun, but you can easily install the master grip, pick up the weapon and either pull it from the holster or point it right at the target.

It's probably around the size of a Glock 19 or P320 compact.

It's not incredibly small, but it's not a full-sized gun either. Personally, really big size in my opinion.

I don't see it as a big deal since it's mostly a remote control rifle, which fills that role well.

Overall, the grips have a nice feel and design with a Taurus logo on each side and a tactile texture that doesn't disappoint.

One of the best things about this gun is that you can get the Taurus TX22 with or without a manual safety.

Because, personally, I don't like safeties on handguns. However, it is 22. i understand More than a rifle. It's good to be safe

Let's talk about the safety of Taurus TKS22. It is located on the rear of the gun and is an ambidextrous manual safety.

Overall, I really like it for what it is. It is very thin and triangular at the point.

It's a bit wider at the back and is clearly located on a pivot system. Above is safe, below is fire, there are no signs to tell what is safe or fire.

Just pull it up, or drag it, push it down with your finger. The ridge is a decent size so you shouldn't have any issues with missing fingers or not being able to get a good grip.

It looks like you can switch sides of it, but I can't confirm that right now. I'll try to dig into it a bit more, but right now it's just an illusion. Don't quote me on this.

I like where it is, of course, it's where the trigger guard meets the frame and sits directly behind the trigger.

The button press is a very shallow press, the button itself doesn't stick out very far. But I don't think it matters, because I don't think bus speed changes are a big deal with TKS 22.

Now, if this is a big deal to you, and you are using it for some competitive or defensive purpose

The slide stop is right in front of the manual safety and I have to say, for a .22LR pistol, this thing works really well with a loaded magazine.

It deflates extremely easily and I have no problem moving forward, even with an empty mag.

Without just, pushing it goes into place and locks the slider, no problem.

So the overall function of the Taurus TX22 main controls is good, I like the controls so far. Now let's talk about the trigger.

Conventional wisdom generally says, don't dry fire for 22s. There's a little controversy, that's still true and whether it applies to guns, I didn't know.

So I shot it to test the trigger and based on the trigger as I fired.

So I was focusing on the trigger and not really focusing on the target. I 100%, admitted the trigger snob in me and focused on the trigger.

The trigger is located on the shaft. As you can see, this is the actual punch in the middle of the trigger. I don't really have a problem with it. The trigger then begins to push back into the frame. So this trigger has a lot of download.

It is very smooth and not very sandy. Unfortunately, I'd say it's a bit lighter than the Palmetto State Armory dagger's trigger.

But it's also a completely different trigger for action. There is more grip here than in a knife. So I'm not comparing the two, that was just a quick note.

Stop it. It's kind of soft, but it has a wall, but not very defined, but still a wall.

Every gun has a wall. Brakes are smooth. So it will surprise you, which is a good thing.

As I say though, I don't hate the trigger. This is a 22 round gun. I don't really know what to expect from the 10 o'clock trigger.

Honestly, as long as this thing fires hundreds of rounds and doesn't jam and pop on me, I'm pretty happy. I am very happy so far. Trigger is still good, still fun. But other than that, that's pretty much all I have to say about Trigger.

So the scenes are really interesting. Most rifles require a suppressor sight elevation to accommodate the suppressor.

But I put a suppressor on a Taurus TX22, and I'll cover that in a minute, but the sights actually cleared the suppressor, and they're not scopes for suppressor elevation.

Now, the .22LR suppressors are a bit thinner, but they completely empty the suppressor and you don't need to do anything fancy or crazy to get the sights.

Taurus Tx22 [review]: A Great Idea Executed Well

Now the sight is your standard three dot configuration. All three dots are white and are not night sights.

There are also tilt and height adjustments out of the box, you may need to make slight adjustments.

This is probably the first time I've really had to do it outside the box. But it's clearly to the left and quite clearly, looking down the scene, I can see that it's going a bit to the left.

So I'll adjust them and before this review even goes up, I'll probably adjust them and report on them.

Um Tactical Iwb Holster Taurus Tx22 Rh

The Picatinny rail on this gun should hold most flashlights. The picture rail actually has two slots.

While the included picatinny rail is a really nice feature, I probably wouldn't use it to mount a torch or laser on this gun.

Whether you're looking to throw a flashlight at the Taurus TX22, or you're trying to move the gun closer to your carry gun so you can shoot more economically. This is probably a good option for you.

It is a compact sized gun and would be really good for training. It falls right up there with pistols the size of the Walter PDP Compact, Glock 19, and P320 Compact. It's in that area.

Of course, it won't be exact, but it's very, very similar. I'd say it's a little thinner on the slide, but the frame is about the same for me.

This link wouldn't be a defense review if we didn't close our gun bags. As you can see in some of the photos in this article, they fit perfectly.

Of course, you can put your colors, your cameo, whatever you see fit, all your guns in your bag.

You can also go with the Concorde if you want to bring more guns to the range. This is a fantastic option to take your Taurus TX22.

If you're like me, it doesn't matter which gun it is. You won't be happy with it out of the box, and even if you're happy with it, you'll probably still want to add your own sparkle and your favorite accessories.

So that's what I did. Now, I haven't done anything crazy. And here I will talk about two things. We're going to talk about suppressors and magazines.

So I didn't go into that earlier in the review, but it's a great feature of the gun if the suppressor adapter is included.

I want to bring this to everyone's attention, because I had no idea when I bought this gun and I was pleasantly surprised.
